It's on the mediocre end. There's better stuff to watch this season.

If you thought the Persona 4 had problems and thought they fixed it in Persona 5, you'd be wrong. Has pacing issues that make every dialogue comes off as exposition or unnecessary. Uses in-game music but slaps it on lazily that it doesn't fit in with the scene. It's also very low sounding and yet the animation doesn't hit the beats where the music would help it having this weird off kilter feel. Not much so far but you can see the fights, unlike in Persona 4 where the Shadows were covered in shadows for no reason. Hard to tell at this point but it's either equal or a slight improvement to P4 anime but not by much and I hated the P4 anime a lot. Day Breakers seemed promising but that seems to be a deception for the low effort Persona anime we're getting again.
