few reasons probably, xseed had a few public embarrassments, lots of delayed projects from them but overall solid releases, nis and falcom presidents are friends, nisa has very good damage control, but ys8 for nisa has been an incredibly bad show. each release of the game so far has had massive controversy and their usual damage control isn't doing the trick.

yeah, this was a really interesting move by XSeed. It honestly feels like something I'd see an anime. Disgraced by having their core IP taken from them, they step up all their work on all their other projects, give it 110% and push them out way before NISA gets anything out, putting up little messages each time NISA announces a delay, or another controversy, XSeed has put out another product, then another, and another after that. All without problems. It's actually pretty funny to me.
