Man that was frustrating to watch. Guy gets hit by the same shockwave attack 24/7 and never learns to dodge it. That boss was pretty pathetic too. Barely dodging or blocking your attacks while having his attacks largely telegraphed. His space closing attack, which you would expect to be unblockable since it's so telegraphed, actually gives you the advantage because it slows down when you block it and now you don't have to close the distance. The game constantly has "epic slowdowns" for no reason and even if you build any momentum it gets interrupted by cinematic shit. Throughout the fight the boss barely even gets any new moves to make the fight more interesting or some new gimmick to throw you off. It's just a boring ass boss in general.
Also the guy says he's can't feel shit and Kratos snaps his neck and throws him off a cliff instead of cutting off his head, smashing his skull, and removing all his organs to make sure he doesn't regenerate. The game cuts down on the gore a lot.

The way the camera is made makes it hard to judge the distance of your attacks so something like the Blades of Chaos/Athena aren't nearly as useful. During the first fight with a giant (it's in the same gameplay as stranger fight, but I didn't upload it) I noticed something interesting: throwing the axe does the same damage as his wife's son's arrows, except the bastard can shoot faster than Kratos can throw. He gets cucked on the battlefield too. Those blue guys can't be hurt by Kratos's axe either, so you're forced to use not his son to do the job for you. The idea in general is poorly executed.
About crowd control, it's both that it's cinematic and the fact that camera prevents you from doing crowd control, fucking cameraman nearly breathes on Kratos's neck.

I don't know what he's talking about, but speaking of jobs I used to work, when I was still in high-school I had a job at a local meat (poultry) factory and we made a bunch of shit like processed chicken nuggets, chicken patties, chicken fingers, etc. That shit is more Soy than meat. There was a big mixing machine (A Wolfking? or maybe a Hobart) that looked like a big pressure cooker with augers inside where you'd load up the ingredients and it'd haul them up and dump them in like a trash truck picking up a dumpster, and then mixed them with CO2.
I didn't really work on it that much, since I was mostly cooking ducks back in the oven room, but a few times I got pulled out to help on the line and saw what went in. Usually a batch consisted of about 200lbs of meat, 250lbs of skin and fat, and something like 400~500lbs of Soy. That shit looked like a big dump of instant-scrambled eggs and smelled like shit. I'm wanting to say it kind of stunk like sulfur, but it's been awhile, and I didn't work on the machine myself - so it could have just been all the mexican farts.

Emphasis on buying fresh meat to get more for your money. When you buy frozen cuts they inject water into them before freezing, to increase the weight and size of the product. Frozen shit will shrink by a huge amount when you cook it. Fresh stays about the same size because it's all actually meat.

I just meant cuts of anything. Chicken, pork, beef, whatever. If they can freeze it, it's sold frozen by somebody. As for the fish question, last time I got a "good deal" on a bunch of frozen fish, it was about half the fucking size when it was done cooking. I'm not even sure how that's possible, and I know I didn't overcook it.
