Being twins is seen as a defect where they are from, but their father kept them hidden so they wouldn't be sacrificed
Come in contact with some grineer during the war of betraial
Twins seem to have some psychic link or whatever, they have some sort of "connection" that's not explained well
The grineer are essencially all twins, and get mesmerised by the two girls
Grineer take the twins as their queen, wanting that sense of connection and unity for themselves
From there on it's implied that they have been changing bodies to keep alive for so long. What I don't know for sure is wether they are Orokin (or maybe inhabit damaged orokin bodies) or not. Don't know if all you need to control Teshin is have his staff, of if it has to be staff+orokin heritage.

Level cap for gear and frames is 30, but then you reset it to increase capacity. Usually you're expected to reset shit 2-5 times to get a full build going, but you can reset shit endlessly.
It does matter, leveling and releveling is what early-to-mid game consists of before you make a full build you're going for.

Yes. You account level is increased as you level gear and frames. Better gear requires higher account level. That being said there are some very powerful weapons and frames that are available from get go.

Yes.
Apart from gear there are mods. They are cards/sockets/whatever you put into frames and weapons that drain capacity I mentioned. Each mod has its own level cap. Some are capped at 3, some are capped at 16.
Mods is the core and essense of the game. Right mods can make bad gun viable and good gun - game destroying, to the point where devs come in and nerf shit.

Current account level cap is 25. But amount of exp between 21 and 25 is more than between 0 and 21 for example.

Which means that it depends on how shit your weapon actually is and if you have riven mod for it
For context: Riven mods are "power ups" for weapon that you can randomly obtain by completing a daily sortie, once you get it you'll get a randomly generated challenge to unlock it, once unlocked it will get permanently assigned to a specific weapon and it will get randomly generated stats. If you don't like the stats you can re roll them with a resource that you obviously need to grind, if you flat out can't continue to re roll it you can sacrifice it alongside three other rivens in order to get another randomly generated riven. But in order to sacrifice it you need to kill an end game enemy called Eidolon, to hurt him you need to complete a specific quest, and if you want be more efficient at killing him you need to grind A LOT of focus which is a percentage of the total XP you get in a mission, but in order to get that focus you need to install a lenz, which you can buy with premium currency or you can randomly get doing the daily sortie

first of all, riven mods aren't "a better version of another mod." riven mods are unique mods for a single weapon that are totally randomized in terms of stats. they can have 1-3 modifiers, plus a possible negative (for a total of four stats modified at most.)
the more stats they have, the less each individual stat will be modified. however, the presence of a negative will increase the positive modifiers' effects. the strength of the effects is modified by the MR rating of the riven mod, but it is primarily determined by the Riven Disposition of the weapon it goes on. so yeah, you've probably seen riven mods with shit stats because they were for weapons that everyone uses – riven disposition is determined programattically by how popular a weapon is.
take a look at some of these riven mods and tell me they "aren't a big deal" you fucking faggot.

You need to do them for spy missions to get the data vaults though. It's better to just git gud at them rather than use cyphers in my opinion though.

It depends. Most frames have a BP on the market, but some are gained through the frame's respective quest or through other means. For example, all of ivara's parts and BP come from spy missions.

Tons of frames are available from the get go, the best two being rhino and loki. With them you can take on any content. Aside from them, most frames you can get before you hit the void, but will most likely be too resource intensive for you to care at the moment.

With the event currently going on, you could very easily just coast off of other people running the event for some easy Forma, which you're going to want a lot of later on down the road. Forma gives a weapon another cost reduction slot for mods, giving you more free space for more mods the more you have on a weapon.

I think I played the first 3 missions solo, then I somehow randomly got connected with a group. The game seems pretty simple and straightforward. You can do stealth or run in guns blazing. You open the chests, break the fancy rocks to get materials, and at the end of the mission you get some Yu-Gi-Oh cards to add to your robot and that makes them more powerful. They all appear to be passive buffs, like +15% more damage or whatever.
I'm still on planet earth, so explain to me what the fuck these high level players are doing on the first planet? My whole point is that I shouldn't be randomly placed in a group of high level players. Isn't there some way to make it so you stay within a certain level range?

That got fixed. Now there are no tables for AABC rotations. Not for prime parts at least. Instead, doing fissure endless missions gives you in-mission boosters for experience, resources, etc…

Adaro on Sedna is used to grind focus standing up to the cap, which if done with a booster and done with naramon affinity gain+ on melee can net you about 50k focus per run, capping you out at ~4-5 runs. Eidolon shards ignore the cap and give you 10-15k focus per shard depending on quality.

I've found that a build making use of Hunter Adrenaline, Stretch, Gladiator Resolve, Vitality, Physique/Toxin Resistance depending on taste, Intensify, Continuity, Streamline, and Flow works reasonably well once you've crammed a potato into him.
I memed the fuck out of defections (fuck farming harrow) using that kinda build because you're essentially invulnerable with close to 1k HP (depending on the level of the gladiator mod) so long as you don't get too badly mobbed, because your 3 will be running indefinitely thanks to hunter adrenaline.
Works well on hemocyte runs, most infested shit too because fuck toxin procs, and is generally a good survival addition.

Nah mag is just pretty weak. For oberon, the few mods you have to have are rage/hunter adrenaline, vitality, and streamline. You can get hunter adrenaline from the plains, you should have vitality already, and streamline from the void(open crates a lot). You could also just ask for one from the trade chat or your clan should you have one, as these mods are fairly common place and most people treat them as worthless once they have more than one.

Hunter and gladiator mods are possible bounty stage drops from plains bounties, always check to see what the current rotation's drop tables are per bounty at Konzu.
Physique is a reward from the Europa Junction and also an occasional alert drop.
Toxin Resistance has a low chance (0.23% but it'll come faster than you think once you start doing shit like Hydron runs) of being dropped from a certain Grineer enemy you'll encounter later on.
Intensify, continuity, streamline, and flow are usually voidshit, but also rewards from survival, excavation, defense, etc. Check the wiki pages, it'll give you a bit better of an idea of the drop locations/rates of those.

On mag, something that works retarddly well is to mod Flow + Power efficiency.
You don't really care about dealing damage, you just need to bubblewrap people all the time. Not only it blocks their shots, it concentrates yours. Even if the guy dies, it's a giant ball of death that insta gibs anything that sets foot inside. Mag is great and I find it to be one of the most fun frames in the long run when you actually learn how to play her.

The hidden caches thing isn't too difficult if you're exhaustive about searching the sabotage map and have, say, Loot Detector or Thief's Wit, and listen out for the audio cue that the lockers emit. The loot radar mods do stack, too.
The melee weapons only thing is pure ass. I'd suggest rushing something like capture missions with Excal because exalted blade counts as melee only, IIRC.
Otherwise squad up with pubbies and just use your own melee and nothing else, I *think* their kills don't count towards it.
Just make sure you've unequipped everything else, though. Otherwise it won't actually register it. (Made the mistake myself of using only melee with other shit equipped when I did that the first time.)

Be more specific. What's the base crit base status etc. You're always gonna want Pressure Point and usually 2 of the 90% elementals on. if it has 25%+ crit build for crit. Otherwise use the dual stat elemental/status mods. Fury helps as well. If you use Fury and don't really have anything else to put in the final slot you might want to use that one corrupted mod that gives + damage but -attack speed. Or just a third 90% elemental. Crimson Dervish is a nice stance for swords.

Well, I'll get the bps from the Dojo later then, sadly I was going to also get Titania but when I came back to the game there was no indication (for me) that quest frames would become unavailable so you can imagine how many components I ended up selling, interestingly enough I can craft the mixtures but there is no way to get the bps again.
Now, why would I think otherwise? because I was misled by Octavia and Nidus among others who can still be obtained outside of their quests.
