Previous games were good. If you like old jrpgs you most likely will like this. You customize tanks, cars etc with weapons and fight with your pets against "wanted" criminals to get rewards. This is most fun part of game hunting wanted boss. The art style of Atsuji Yamamoto was good too and unique but they killed half of game after changing him to hentia artist oda non not that atsuji doesn't draw hentai but it his art is what made metal max into metal max like changing etrian odyssey artist will change game entirely will at least we have him doing monsters. MM4 was very good one of few games I enjoyed since a long time. It's their first HD game most likely will suck.

Remember the big Tohoku quake back in 2011 or so? Irem was set to release Disaster Report 4–one of their biggest upcoming games, IIRC–around then, but canned it because holy shit you don't release a game about surviving an earthquake and tsunami right after an earthquake and tsunami hit. Afterwards, they basically quietly canned all of their other projects, including Bumpy Trot Steambot Chronicles 2, and went back to making pachinko games.
A bunch of their old staff went on to form Granzella, who got their start making shit for PS Home, and eventually got big enough to finally release Disaster Report 4 this year (hopefully), four years after they got the IP back from Irem. I dunno, if it sells well, maybe they'll try and get the Steambot Chronicles IP from Irem and put out an actual sequel to the game.
