I'm getting a new pen display soon since mine was too large/unwieldy with three cables coming out of it, lacked express keys, didn't work with Krita, and although the battery-powered pen never died the tip of it is cracked since it's not very durable. On top of all that, the unit had been randomly deciding to use the incorrect monitor for input and the stand is so worn out it sometimes gives out and drops to the desk. The thing has been long overdue for replacement.
The new one I've ordered has express keys, is more light/compact with only one cable coming out of the unit splitting to three on the end, easily fits in lap, works with Krita, has greater pressure range, the pen doesn't use a battery, and hopefully it will be more reliable. It doesn't have a stand, so I also ordered a simple tablet/laptop stand for it. I'll probably take it off the stand and put it in my lap for drawing anyways, but it does need something to make it vertical for use as a second monitor. It also needed cable extensions. With the extensions it should only have the single cable laying over the desk when I pull it out to draw. The 3-split end will be using extension cables that will be taped up under the desk. I thought about extending the single USB-C end of the cable to the unit, but reviews claim such extensions do not transfer data for peripherals so I'll just stick with extensions for the other end of the cable that I know should work. Hopefully, such a configuration will have no issues. I'm excited to finally have something that works with Krita so I can switch over from PainTool SAI and be able to do much more. The different interface may take some getting used to though. I probably won't receive it until next week.

The 15.6" 1080p IPS screen is like a typical laptop screen size. My current pen display is 21.5" but that's just too big and heavy. This new one should be small and light enough that I don't need to keep it on a stand to use it. Only downside is the new one has no stand at all (so I had to order one). I hear the screen doesn't get super bright either, but that seems common for these compact displays which use USB-C. I also have a portable monitor with a similar form factor and it doesn't get super bright either so I keep it out of bright sunlit areas when possible.

I still have an even older Cintiq which sucks worse. It uses a cathode backlight instead of LED so it takes time to reach peak brightness and gets hot in the lap. Resolution is 1280x800 on a tiny 12" TN panel. The things it had going for it was lots of express keys, touch strips, broad compatibility, single cable, lightweight sturdy build and a decent stand. But the screen was too small and shitty. Replaced the 12" Cintiq with the 21.5" pen display that I'm now replacing with a 15.6" pen display.

PROTIP: Use selection tool to select inside lines where you want to color, use expand selection function (sometimes called "Increment") to get under the lines as well, paint expanded selection on a layer under the lines, color will meet and even go under the lines so there are no pixels between color and lines.

A major thing that this image ignores is that there were other artists doing works like Hitler, but just better in almost every way. He was seen as less creative and less talented than his competitors for the few spots at the university. Also he was applying to a university that wanted to be on the 'bleeding edge' as it were. If he just wanted to be a better artist he should have applied for a more conventional school.
For anyone that has looked into art schools more are okay for the first years or two. Then it just goes down the drain as it increasingly gets away from facts and abilities. They want you to find your "voice" which means they don't actually have any way to teach you anything else because most of the teachers just aren't that talented.

It's hard to fulfill your request when you're shitting on the drawfags who are doing it for free.
Sometimes, really good drawfags take up the challenge of complicated requests, but that's rare.
From my experience, Simple requests tend to be drawn, and drawthreads are more for creating memes than really good shit, which you really should just commision.
If I were you, just get another ID and make another request without shitting on the drawfags, or just wait until next thread.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. Either way, I guess I'm just a little realistic about how these draw threads usually play out, you know. I notice that Requests are often not only outnumbering Deliveries by a large margin, but also that Request Anchors are usually filled with unfulfilled over-the-top requests. Time-consuming crazy stuff that drawfags often don't bother wasting any time on. I figure that if I were to ask the artists here for anything, I'd just make my first request something easily achievable that wouldn't be a difficult burden for you guys to pull off.

I had one professorwho just made us practice lines the whole semester, was actually pretty useful for the first week and then it got really tiresome. I remember asking at some point if we would be using live models or anything. The best we got was a box, because yeah I really need to learn how to draw boxes and not the human form. This was a 201 class also, I seriously got better instruction from my 101 class.
I had a 70 year old professor who literally had no idea how to operate a computer, and he was teaching DIGITAL ARTS. Dont want to relive that nightmare
Then one professor who had us draw live models of steampunk cosplayers. But hey, at least Im fucking learning how to draw a person, even if its a cringefest.
Honestly the professors arent very bad, theres alot of incompetency but thats a given with literally any field of higher education. The professor that made me draw fat steampunk cosplayers was actually very good in almost every other respect, I really found my own art style and vision under his tutelage and he really encouraged the students to be as creative as possible while still instructing them in technical skills, perfect mixture of hard-line teaching and giving the students free-reign.
The problem is the students. I had to sit at a table where one person was a fat Jew that smelled like salty bagels (and surprise surprise the Jew was the only tolerable person at the table too , the worst part was the smell), one person was a fat coalburner who would not shut the fuck up about steven universe for 10 seconds even though shes an adult woman, Jesus christ she pushed it like it was her religion, constantly talking about "natural families" and all this weird creepy shit, and then a stick-woman vegan who, despite looking like she had never seen a healthy meal in her life and looking like absolute acne-ridden shit, continuously tried to shill veganism to me and kept bothering me while I was in the middle of drawing with "do you eat meat", "how can you eat animals and cause so much suffering" and all this PETA garbage. I am not kidding or exaggerating about any of this, art students are the fucking worst and honestly turned me off from mainstream art.
