To me, they're no different than a street musician playing other people's songs with a tip jar out in front of them. Some just watch and move along. Others toss them a buck. The moment it becomes cancerous IMO is when the streamer is sponsored by a random company or has ads playing in the middle of their streaming session.

Streaming can be useful as a preview, considering you can't get an honest game breakdown out of these industry jews in their promotional trailers. It's a good way to get a representative sample of raw gameplay. Although faggots actually think I'm there for them, and not just the gameplay, so they feel obligated to put on a gay little minstrel show to try to be entertaining.
Just stay the fuck away from anything that has more than three viewers. If they have 0-3 viewers - chances are it's a guy and not a camwhore, and he doesn't have a mic or camera and is just streaming gameplay. That's the ones you want. Then just try to find one that has a reasonably skilled player, and not someone who looks like they're fresh off the set of a 4am infomercial demonstration or game journalist.
