Its not tf2 visuals, tf2 uses a 60's art style with a slightly cartoon and vibrant twist with a lot of clear blocky shapes with minimal particles and lighting effects. Also tends to use visible paint strokes a lot and focuses on clarity of the visuals, while this game is more just lolcartoon with no deeper thought put into it.

Seriously tf2's characters are modeled to look like targets to our brain.

Valid point of criticism, here is some more "depth" for you. The game is unpolished and lacking in content for a game that has been in development for almost seven years. It is very slow paced and lacks game modes to play after the most prominent game modes get boring and repetitive which they do fast.
