The pictures are most likely promotional then. 1k isn't that much to most "professional" cosplayers though, they usually spend that much on a Storm Trooper outfit. Furries usually have them beat, spending 5-8k on average for their suits.

The Revelations games didnt really have that great of a budget, and I'm pretty sure Julias contract had run out. No idea why they fucked claire up so bad in Rev2, they couldn't get the voice actor due to that strike/union bullshit at the time, maybe they redesigned her because her voice was different too? Either way, her voice in rev2 made me play with japanese audio cos fuck me its bad.
