KF1 is pretty alright. I don't want to give any more money to tripwire ever but the game is decent fun, especially with a full group that keeps comms going.

This, Vermintide 2 has heald my attention longer than any game in the past 5 years. the devs for Spacehulk Deathwing are also supposedly fixing that and rereleasing a definitive version soon.

Also, while on the topic, has anyone heard anything about Earthfall? My friends really want me to get it but it just looks like Left 4 Dead without the modding scene to me.

It's okay, but I find it subpar to 1 because of many little things, like the 9mm being now completely useless unless getting perks for those, the welder being useless, the matchmaking being shit and sending you to 300 ping servers, so few characters and some being horrible (that fucking Rae Higgins), and so on.

Also where are my MK23s and steampunk Mrs Foster.

Vermintide 2 is the most active horde defence game on the market at the moment. The game is pretty mechanically solid too, i'd say you'll get a solid 50 hours out of it at least.

I'd argue that Vermintide II (and L4D outside of its last stand mode) aren't Horde defense games. More akin to a Horde wading game, albiet wading via lethal metal weapons.

Here's one for you OP

It's you as a lumberjack vs waves of werewolves/skinwalkers which are trying to bring your sister back to town because the priest made a pact with the devil.

The thing is that your sister despite being comatose is some sort of weird psychic so you can see what is coming each night and from where. This allows you to set up traps for them which is good because if you just try to go through it with your axe and your musket shit is going to get out of hand fast.

also when I went to look at this game I found out that it is free as in freedom on both gog and steam which took me a little by surprise. and there for sure wasn't any microtransactions the last time I played it a year ago so you don't don't worry about that

Thank you.

The ability to weld doors shut and holdout in a house was one of the main reasons I bought KF1.

In KF2 if you attempt to hold out in an area you'll get BTFOd so damn fast.

The charm is almost completely lost in KF2.
