What it doesn't really discuss is how much fucking durable the cast iron stuff is. I have a cast iron skillet and a teflon one-the teflon one is lighter and when it's been on for a while I can still grab the handle without burning myself.
The cast iron is just fucking better-it's tough as balls, I can get out metal spoons and spatulas and shit without fear of destroying the surface and this also means if I have a stubborn bit of shit on the pan I can get it removed, no problem.
Finally, the 'you can just put it in the oven' is something that cannot be overstated. You don't have to preheat extra pans or trays of shit, you can just seal/fry shit up and then slam it straight intot he oven, no problem. The fact it also keeps it's heat is bitching; you can get it out and not worry about it getting cold while you finish off something else, or even just get out stuff cooking seperately.
The point it's trying to make is there's a bit of faff but they're well worth if it you're not a scrublet cook.

I think it was pretty much exposition, except done right, it didn't take control away from you and it it felt natural, having the camera as usual instead of that aerial cam showing the mountain.
