>as the game goes on, he begins to hallucinate and ASCII art of his surroundings and the eldritch beings he's researching force their way onto the screen
>begins looking into previous books to cross reference information
>the books text changed, but the player is not informed of this
>the end of the game is him realizing that he doesn't even remember his name
>he's never looked into a mirror
>he doesn't even know if he's even spoke before
>he has not had any control over his actions the entire time
>all he sees are books, placed on shelves and cabinets nailed to the floor
>begins ripping out paper and cuts himself as much as he can
>text is auto scrolling and cannot be stopped
>when he finally dies, the game crashes
