I did a bit of digging and compiled a list of at least 36 articles that are blatantly undisclosed advertising for gambling games, and I doubt I've gotten them all. The whistleblower might only be able to confirm the one but if you actually read them it's extremely obvious. There's some undisclosed ads for other things too.

It's not just the articles that are actually about online gambling that will link a specific site alongside transparent ad copy, he'll shove it into clearly unrelated articles. Some of the seemingly unrelated articles seem like just excuses to link gambling sites to begin with, while others seem more like like regular articles but will suddenly say that if you're interested in videogame music you might be interested in [link to casino game site]. Almost every single article the site owner has written in the past couple years is or includes an undiclosed ad, and I noticed 2 from other authors too. It looks like the articles are meant for search-engine-optimization as well as actually trying to fool people, they go out of their way to use the right keywords in a way that's very recognizable for anyone familiar with SEO spam. At least 5 advertisement-articles that showed up on Google have been deleted since being published, possibly because whatever agreement they had expired.

Hopefully this spreads, it hasn't gotten a lot of traction on KIA and Twitter hasn't noticed yet. Anyway I have to go to sleep now, good night everyone.

All it would take for a hobby comic to get big would be for some huge Marvel or DC fan who is tired of the politics to produce good art and just make what they like without the politics. More intelligent users are usually the first ones to explore a new site and set up home there. The dumber ones are usually the ones who jump on a popular site when it's already on the decline. Generally, smarter people adapt to new things that are an improvement to the old things quicker than dumb people.

Obviously, that trickles out to other social websites, like Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc. All of those sites have long lost their more worthwhile users to other platforms.

But don't jump to conclusions, I'm not saying everyone on a site like 8chan is better than someone from Twitter. I'm just saying there's more decent people on 8chan than there are on Twitter. There are some great people on Twitter, some horrible ones too.
