The recent shit they're pulling is no more then 4-6 months old as of this post. Alright, I'm sick of relying on others for Steam cracks and apparently it's easy to circumvent Steam. Is there any information about making a fake Steam .dll or in the case of Linux shared library? I rent from my sister and her husband, and a few years ago I got caught by my ISP for torrenting some HBO-tier shows to trade off to a friend in a rural area (he's not tech savvy in the least, and a cheapskate and didn't want to pay $80 for a season of TV, plus satellite internet is awful).
Anyways, homeowner put his foot down and said STOP after he got two emails about it. I tried to explain it but he wasn't having it, but whatever. I just stick to non-AAA games now.

You wanna know the real secret? Don't torrent. Your ISP isn't watching what you're doing because as another anon said they don't care. What happens is some companies have rats they send to sniff around on torrents. They can see your IP and report it to your ISP. Torrenting is usually where you'll get malware from too.
Obviously, there are workarounds to this but not torrenting is the simplest option.

Do you have any stats or anything that support it that? I will admit that that bit of my post is purely anecdotal though. The only times I've had malware actually embedded in seemingly legitimate executables are when I've torrented files.
