Despite being so old and known everywhere, how many of you have actually played a Space Invader game? Surely you've probably played a Flash clone of it.

Also, a port of Space Invaders Extreme was just released for Steam, which includes some new music and content. It looks trippy as all hell.

I hope Space Invaders Extreme 2 gets a PC remake eventually. That game was the best DS game hands down.

It's got some new extra stages and the music of the PSP version alongside some entirely new music, and online leaderboards for Arcade mode. No multiplayer, though.

One of my earlier vidya memories is playing a Space Invaders / Qix combo cocktail arcade machine. I think I mainly remember it because of this nice table art.

Actually, I may be remembering wrong and it was this one. I know I've played both though.
