I really wish someone would just make a game that full-throttle WE WUZ set in ancient Nubia (or wherever - fuck it, set it in what would become St. Petersburg) and actually had fun with the absurdity of the proposition. I think they are doing it on purpose.
I think they are trying to kill the game simply to get away from Activision.
This isn't some sort of "OH I LOVE BUNGIE THEY A GUD BOY" sort of a thing just look at the design decisions. They aren't perpetrated by any outside community (like overcuck's poor design choices) They aren't being pressured by Activision as far as we can tell.
THey are actively making the worst possible choices almost methodically, they want to close down the fucking game and are basically forcing it.
