Starbound has enough content in it now to last you around at least 100 hours of casual playing before you actually even BEAT the game. 20 hours is probably hardcore level, and 10 hours is casual level. It's kind of shitty how the story works now though because you basically have to grind main storyline missions out because you have to find worlds that you HOPE might have, per say, a floran village that HOPEFULLY has enough content to scan to complete the mission.

Minecraft is working on it but it's still got a ways to go. I play it pretty often still though, just got back into it. I have don't starve but don't play it really. It's got a lot of content but the difficulty curve is insane, not to mention you basically need a controller to play the game comfortably.
