The punch combo meter is only affected by power duration. You still want naramon & one duration mod on your melee since you want to build both a standard combo meter and punch combo meter. They both affect your punch, but you'll need to build standard combo with just your normal melee. Yeah it's not quite obvious, I'll explain.
Landslide has its own melee combo meter that I'll call the Punch meter. I'll call the standard melee combo meter the Standard meter.
They both act together to boost your punches. If you build your Standard meter, your punches will be stronger for it, even before you take into account the Punch meter. If you build up and hold on to your Standard meter, Landslide will be much stronger, especially because you'll build your Punch meter while punching.
You don't need your melee weapon to be especially slash-focused to do tons of slash procs. You could, for example, use Destreza with the Vulpine Mask stance. Destreza is almost entirely puncture damage, but the stance itself will force slash procs. You could also fire shots with Sarpa, since it fires several "bullets" that can all individually proc slash.
You don't need to build the weapon for slash, just pick a stance that will force slash procs and have Relentless Combination equipped, so every time the slash proc makes a tick of damage, your Standard meter increases. You can build the rest of the weapon exclusively with things that will help Landslide. You don't have to build your melee weapon to its own strengths if the goal is to buff your Landslide in the end.
If you want your melee weapon to perform well on its own while still building Standard meter, you could use something like Shaku or Obex. Shaku does multhits per swing and sparring weapons like Obex can just get in a lot of hits. Just build those for speed and you're golden.

Considering you're likely to kill what you punch, the potential meter build-up depends on how many enemies you've got around. If it's just a few you can go ahead and melee, but if it's a large group then the goal isn't building melee, it's just a side effect of the ultimate goal of punching lots of things to death. You could quick attack with any exceedingly fast weapon (nunchaku/sparring) or shoot with Sarpa and still keep your primary out.
Sarpa's a gunblade, if anyone's confused. It's a melee weapon that's a sharp gun, and holding E in either quick attack or a melee stance will fire bullets to the crosshair. Whether a shot or a slash, gunblade hits count towards melee combo meter.

Yeah, you do. I have dozens of relics laying around from running bounties for lenses. You had a tiny sample size and bad luck. You can check the wiki, the drop rate on the Axi relics is literally 50%/33%/33%/25% for the first four stages.

What's some good alternate color scheme for Saryn? I've been using this 'slightly lighter than default' purple/replace black with pink but otherwise identical one for years without variation. What's a good weapon to kill eidolon limbs if you don't have an opticor riven or run vex chroma?
I just got out of a pub eidolon where we literally ran out of time. Got 70 of the little cores though which is nice. I was running volt, laying down shields, and slapping 5 and ctrl as fast as I could whenever it started making funny noises. My V.Marelock (status build) did pretty shit damage against it. My riven (cd) hunter munitions amprex did better damage than the marelock, but ran out of ammo pretty fast, and then my carrier died at some point, and then basically i couldn't use it anymore.
This wasn't my first eidolon pub. I've been in much worse ones, and much better ones (where they'd blown off a few limbs before I could even tell what the heck was going on). Everyone was just hopping around, shooting at it, reviving each other etc… We got one knee <50%, the other knee ~70% both shoulders still at about 80 or 90 by the time night ended. And two of the others had an opticor and aklex which they seemed to be using; and still we did SO poorly on overall damage
I though this was weird, so I read up on it a bit; apparently Eidolon takes NO statuses? (I could see the 0slash from my amprex) And armor cannot be stripped? (Well I guess that explains why my marelock was so ineffective since it's for status) But then what are you supposed to do? I though the opticor was supposed to wreck the teralyst? Or was that only with a riven and chroma? Or did they change something? Admittedly this is the first eidolon battle I've done in a few weeks.
What should I try to use for eidolon hunts as a main weapon if I'm 'on a budget' (I can't slap together a riven/argon scope opticor on short notice). So if you want high base damage, crit, no reliance on status… But apparently weak to radiation?
(I don't have rivens for any of these btw, but I could probably slap radiation and crit on them)
Dread maybe? That thing crits well I guess, I don't really like/use bows a lot. I use zhuge for bow-only sorties, but I do remember using Dread to farm AladV's stupid invincibility frame thing for Mesa and that was pretty good.
Tigris Prime? Maybe ammo capacity/crit build? It probably won't crit constantly but it's still pretty high base damage right?
Vectis Prime? I need to get a depleted reload for it, but that's supposed to be pretty good single shot damage right? And with an added plus of being able to fight the eidolon from relatively further away than other weapons so have a bit more wiggle room in response time to switch to operator mode and hit ctrl?

They spent more time entirely redoing core systems repeatedly, years into the game, than making new content. And what they did make was either bullshit designed to get your shekels (kubrows) or straight up trash. And the whole reworks I wouldn't say is adding depth, except for maybe the whole raids thing but that is only a promise they're gonna fix it. The only thing that would really add depth to me would be some fabled damage 3.0 so actual build variety becomes a thing. Warframe has never been a particularly deep game in terms of mechanics. It has a lot of them but they are seldom used in complex ways. I do think however the teralyst fights are a step in the right direction. Just got done killing the two palette swaps. Reward for capture is 2 Radiants and 3 Brilliants, plus the riven transmuters. Hydrolyst also drops the event slash mods.

Okay so the thing with summoning the Gantulyst and Hydrolyst is you spend the brilliant shard you get off the Teralyst to fight the Gant, and the radiant you get off the Gant to fight the Hydro. Meaning that if you aren't quick enough to capture the higher ones before sunrise you lose your wager and get fucked.
If you're with a shit team that can't kill or time is short, you're better off swapping off to just fight a Teralyst at the end of the night.

Does it make any sense to go full melee on the mios? No, I don't have any rivens for it or maiming strike.
I've been using Mios on Saryn forever as a 'utility' container breaker or general quick melee-ing mobs or slide-attacking nullifiers etc… Not really deepwave type shit; because it was A. pretty good and B. looked good on Saryn
Recently, I realized after doing a bunch of melee-centric builds/runs with Inaros and Nidus; that it looks pretty fuckin good with Nidus too.
Does it make any sense to forgo all of the 'usual' ele/range/speed mods and try go full melee on the Mios?

The base status is pretty good, so go with a combo blood rush+ CO build provided you have CO. And don't use true steel on any build with bloodrush, it's a waste.

So Mag's new augment on her 3, plus the buffs to her 4, gives her some pretty bloody solid CC. Root enemies in place and prevent them from firing for sizable periods of time? That's not half bad.
This build obviously does jack shit for damage, but let's be real against hard targets Mag ain't doing shit for damage anyways. Also probably benefits a ton from Zenurik, which I need to get busy and level.

I finally put a gold potato and forma on my carrier when I realized I had SIX already before even this recent three from alerts, and slapped a forma on the shotty because I got a riven for it recently (don't worry about the riven; it's shit [+grineer damage +corpus damage -magazine cap]. I'll reroll it when I'm done rerolling the stuff I'm currently working on though)
I don't really use this guy for 'combat', It's more of QoL as you can probably guess with the loot radar, ammo case and vacuum.
That being said; what's a good final mod for carrier after I slot that last shield regen thing? The armor+? the revive one? Are there some 'good' newer sentinel mods that came out that I might not be aware of? I don't really check on sentinel mods often at all, most if not ALL of this build (sans riven/2forma/1potato) is from endless voids days when I was spending ALL my potatoes on new frames/weps from starchart clearage/syndicates so he kinda fell through the cracks until I took a look at him again recently because I got a sweeper riven
Is there any particular 'good' way to build carrier's shotty? before that riven I had just slapped on a couple dualstat mods or something for a bit more status/damage. Or should I base what I build this towards after I reroll that riven?

No one really gives a shit about sentinel weapons, so just slap on whatever you aren't using. Hell you might just want to take it off so he doesn't draw aggro.
As for carrier himself, I'd put on sanctuary and try to get medi beam to replace striker. Accelerated deflection isn't great anyway, so you might want to take it off. And carrier has great health values so replace the shield mod with armor.

Fair enough on the weapons. Makes sense. It does unnoticable damage on med/high starchart and beyond content, and is merely an annoyance when you're going into a riven challenge on some low level node to do stealth slide skills or headshots or some shit and your sentinel steals your kills.
I hear ya on the mediray and sanctuary but generally speaking I run rage/lifestrike and/or frames with selfheal/augments or heavy CC/utility heals for deepwave/sortie3/trials so mediray doesn't really 'give me' anything, and really the main time I have to deal with survivability is deepwave shit or sortie 3/trials and sentinel precept isn't nearly as 'instant gratification' or remotely useful as selfheal skills/augment or lifestrike weapons.
That being said; I'll consider medi-ray for what I would consider my own 'personal meta' frames (while loki is 'better than' saryn in overall meta, I am MUCH better at playing saryn than loki, and find her regen molt/ignis/max power& range min Eff spore build to be very easy and effective to play in deepwave compared to loki). If I can drop the rage/lifestrike on some frames I less frequently use and replace with medi-ray on carrier, I might be able to squeeze more fun and overall effectiveness out of them I guess.
I guess I'll look at the additional armor. Sounds more useful overall. In 'things that actually matter' where people are dying for more legitimate reasons other than being pub shitters like sortie3/deepwave/trials I run more survivable things that scale better than sanctuary where I can drop a hard CC or something before I begin a rez.

If you run a lot of heal frames then armor is definitely the best choice for carrier, as frames like nidus and inaros can heal him. Honestly sanctuary doesn't matter a whole lot considering the best way to revive people now is to just use your kid and be invincible, but there's also not a whole lot to put there except maybe shields which also don't matter at all for any content that puts your sentinel under fire, or where people are gonna be going down. It's really a fuck around slot, but mind you, any precept mod not in a precept slot will not activate, so don't try to put coolant leak there.

I don't do like extremely long stealth runs, I only really use 'stealth' frames/tactics on spy and riven challenges that require it. I do sustainable cc/killframes on deepwave, aggro doesn't matter to me in the slightest.

The aggro doesn't refer to that. It means enemies will shoot you more often than the sentinel. And inaros can heal with his 4. If you tap it and don't hold it, it will CC enemies you are aiming at and return the damage it deals as health to everyone in range, including you, allies, and your sentinel/ pet.

It really depends on which shot mode you use, but a general build is the two crit mods, two dual stat elementals of your choice, the damage and multishot mods, and that one augur mod that adds damage.

I mainly use the 'boltor' primary fire.
The secondary just feels TOO short range in general to be effective. I mean sure, if I'm swarmed in some low starchart/alert type thing, sure I'll pop that middle mose button and melt a cone of dudes in front of me, but I wouldn't build the weapon towards that in general.

Interesting. I didn't know that; I use his 4 a lot as a relatively passive 'charge it up at the start of the round' armor buff. I knew you could tap it against targets, but did NOT know that could heal allies/pets. That sounds handy, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks! Also I get now what you mean by 'draw less aggro'. That actually sounds pretty good, I want that little guy to stay alive as long as possible to collect loot/convert ammo etc… I don't really give a shit about his damage output

For the primary fire you'll want the build I mentioned but instead of using dual stat elemental mods use the full 90% ones for more damage, as the primary has abysmal status chance. And his 4 is great CC albeit a little unwieldy, as it spreads from enemy to enemy and lasts a while.
