The problem with griefing now is that every faggot out there wants to be like one of the older groups, be it [Myg0t], Goroncity, or whatever. Then you have the faggots who play and turn on each other, instead of looking for marks they turn on those within their groups and build cliques where shit hits the fan and the group dies.In the end these groups devour themselves and die. Usually the people who were the source of the drama try to blame others and the story becomes muddled and no one cares the end.

The other half of it is that now games are more padded than a insane asylum cell. There are so many ways to prevent "griefing", which now pretty much means "Anything the 10+ admins on duty doesn't like". Another big factor is that it takes some time to get shit done, for every 12 seconds you see in one of those montages it takes hours to find that person or people that reacted as strongly as they did. Team GRN made a video about it awhile back on why they didn't want to stream their griefing, it takes too long to find anything and the fun in reality doesn't last that long. One last factor I think also circles back to the first half of the post, people try to copy the groups from early 00s and fail at it, reverting to mic spamming or shouting nigger and then going "WOW HOW COME I'M BANNED".

Griefing at it's core is about causing other people asspain while you're enjoying yourself. If other people like the shit you do that's cool, but at the end of the day you need to realize that all that matters at the end of the day is if you get a good laugh out of the dude screaming into his mic because you tasered him

Now this dark and lowly part of the Internet has come to support family, God, chivalry, tradition, and pride in one’s heritage. What a sad and dark world we live in where moral degeneracy is so rampant that supporting these things is now edgy and controversial.

What is wrong with society? How could they abandon the beautiful traditions of our countries not even a century ago and embrace the path of degeneracy? How is it that the so-called most vile, evil people that congregate in this board are the only ones fighting for the greater good of mankind? This has to be a bad joke. It’s like the world is satire and you’re seeing an awful cringe joke in every facet of society… yet it’s real. The true terror of browsing /pol/ for any length of time is not discovering the “evil within,” but coming to realize the true nature of the “evil without” and that nearly everything society has told you about the world and about history is either a complete fabrication or a half-truth spun in such a way that it forces you to think in a manner beneficial to a very particular group of people.

Imagine being blind for your entire life. Imagine listening to people with functioning vision about how the world works, describing what things look like, and so on. Without any frame of reference, you would have little choice but to believe them. Now imagine suddenly gaining the ability to see, and realizing not only that many of the people around you aren’t even human, but that those who most resemble you are also blind, and everything they have been telling you has merely been the parroting of things the putrid monsters overseeing them have whispered in their ears. You look out at the world that you were told was full of beauty and find only death, decay, and madness.

I wouldn't say that. It has the shortest but still potent efficacy while requiring the smallest amount of effort. If there are enough targets or are in the middle of something that they cannot interrupt, it's got plenty of bang for buck. Or, if by some miracle you come across a method of producing sound that both cannot be muted or stopped and cannot be traced to a concrete individual. Games like Gmod are a complete goldmine as far as ways obfuscating the source of disturbance goes.
