I've always felt like people don't want to criticize Sony because they had a PS1 before they got into PC gaming, and they enjoyed playing MGS, Spyro, Monster Rancher, and other gems. Unfortunately, Sony was never a good company; this is just rose-tinted glasses. The original PS2 that I had fucked up, there was a massive recall, and Sony refused to give me a new one for free. I told them "fuck you", got into PC gaming, and never looked back. Fuck consoles.

XBone is for COD sports faggots, but at least they make actual updates (Windows 8.1 to 10), and at least attempt to support consumers. They game new/fixed consoles back if you had a Red Ring on an X360.

Microsoft is by default the worst company because of windows and the ammount of proprietary software and spying they push.

microsoft had no confidence and when there was a storm of articles that "consoles were dead", they took the bait, focused on mostly not games, and nobody wanted it. sony did the opposite and made the fastest selling system ever.

PS4 is shit too, but it still has much more going for it then the Xbone did. Even Titanfall, what was marked to be the system seller, failed because guess what, it had a PC version, and people wanted the PC port more. It's no wonder Microsoft is now teaming up with Nintendo for crossplatform play, and is rumored to be looking into buying out devs.

Sony is the company that installed rootkits on customer's PCs that would send them information detailing what music was played on the machine. Their horrible treatment of customers led to them having billion dollar losses a decade later. There was a great deal of hatred for Sony, and there still is. Microsoft foolishly channeled that hatred towards themselves with the botched launch of the xbone. They only had to deliver a better xbox 360, and they failed.

The xbox 360 post kinect was shit with nogames released. The xbone just continued the trend
