That aside, I have been using PIA, privateinternetaccess, for a couple years now, and have had far fewer issues with them than with NordVPN. This is a long story, because it's a real one that has real implications, if you ask me.
Nord I used for one year, and they said that P2P traffic was banned from certain servers of theirs, and I had to encrypt my P2P traffic in order to use it on said servers, else my connection would be INSTANTLY cut.

To be fair, that could be automated, but it didn't sit right with me. Anyway, I forced encryption on the P2P traffic and continued to use it that way for some months, noticing that my seed speeds would massively drop after about 12 hours, at which point, if I could be bothered, I would log out of and close the client, open it again, connect to the same server cluster, and voila! my speeds were restored.
After doing this for several months, suddenly my client stopped being able to connect WHATSOEVER to their servers, and after trying the obvious stuff like uninstalling the client, reinstalling an old version, un/reinstalling new version, etc., I created a helpdesk ticket. I will post screenshots of the email chain if requested, but one of the FIRST things they asked was, "You don't have a torrent client open, do you?" I, truthfully, at that time, stated that no, no torrent, anti-virus, or firewall software or services were running on my computer or the network whatsoever.
As my ticket was escalated up the support ladder, they had me "Make sure my DNS was set to automatically acquire", "Double check that I don't have antivirus running", etc. and FOR THIS ENTIRE TIME I was without my VPN because, again, the NordVPN account was blocked from connecting whatsoever. CRITICALLY, this means that they were 1) DPI'ing my traffic 2) maintaining logs.
PIA I have NO "mysterious slowdowns" with EVER, even with 1TiB+ of upload traffic in a single login session, I have had NO "mysterious disconnection" issues which their support team couldn't immediately solve with something simple, and they have had their no-logs policy actually tested in a court of law, where they were subpoeanad (spelling?) for evidence about a users traffic, and all they could say was that the customer had purchased VPN services with them - they could not say, in court, anything about where he was connecting from, what type of traffic it was, etc. and they show customers court documents to prove it.
HOWEVER, that was in the past - whether a year ago or yesterday - and their policies may have changed, but I pay $3.33 a MONTH for this service for the past 2 years and have had ZERO problems. YES it might be a honeypot, but so is fucking everything, and if you want protection from DMCA and traffic trackers, this will give you what you are looking for.

Okay, somebody please help a nigger out. I finally got that Kirby 25th Anniversary Concert Blu-Ray in, and I've ripped it using MakeMKV.
I'm currently encoding it to h265 using PavTube it should take the file size from 20GB down to about 12GB, but it's taking a while, even on my Ryzen 5 system. When it's done, how do I upload it to a tracker? I want to seed it on NyaaPantsu - do I just "add torrent" in my client and copypaste the tracker to it? I doubt that would make it appear in the search function on NyaaPantsu, though. Any input from veteran shareanons?
I also have an mp3 rip of the orchestral CD it came with, but I have no idea how to rip FLAC, so if you'd like that, a little spoonfeeding would be required as well. Here's the mp3 of it:

Well, I knew you were right, but I didn't know just how right, because this PavTube compression took forever, looks like dog shit, and it didn't preserve any of the Chapters, so I'll be seeding the full uncompressed 19.7GB version only for now, and if someone way smarter than me who knows how to use ffmpeg well comes along they can post one of those insanely long string commands for it with the >6 million arguments and I'll run it as many times as it takes until we get something that looks good and is sized appropriately. I assume this would do all that PavTube did, just go to 265 and nothing else regarding the audio or chapters or anything? Actually, it turns out that h265 needs you to specify lossless encoding, so this might be better (although the filesize would be bigger):

"-c:a copy" means it uses the original file's audio, unchanged. And I've seen the kind of complex ffmpeg commands you're talking about, but in my experience ffmpeg works just fine without specifying everything under the sun.
Also, I had honestly never heard of the whole "chapter" thing before today. (I haven't dealt with a lot of MKV files.) Probably a safe bet that ffmpeg will leave them alone unless instructed otherwise.
