Actually I played in multiple times for long periods hoping that it would get better.

Had full jackal, shiz, dragoon mk2, ak107, mk48, saiga, jackhammer, gynocologist suit.

I was one with the zone when it came to arti hunts and almost always brought in the biggest haul with my friends.

Took bases, fought the russian hackers when we switched over from szone to stalker online.

Defended many times on base attack days.

I did it all anon

Which Bethesda studio? If the studio was Arkane, STALKER 2 would get nice graphics and decent optimization, but the levels would be linear and the game would be fucked by denuvo and leftist agenda. If the studio was BGS, it would be more of an open world sandbox than ever and there would be little to no SJW shit, but it would be looking like shit and filled with chokefull of bugs.

For short periods of time you can literally equip a second health bar whose only cost is its cooldown time. Your entire inventory is always available so you should realistically never run out of healing supplies. Your cat will constantly slap max potions directly into your face. Between the three, even actual subhumans have cleared the game without being walled.

And I'm referring to when it released. Remember the Squaresoft summer of adventure? Where Square released Legend of Mana, Threads of Fate, and Chrono Cross one month after the other, with sample soundtracks for pre orders and if you got all three you send in copies of your receipts and got a Squaresoft bag? Chrono Cross is all anybody talked about in school. Started a lot of fist fights hilariously enough. Also to a lesser extent here, although not so much lately there used to be the odd thread with a few people putting the full force of their concentrated autism into defending it and shitting up whatever thread they were in.

Not that it was really a bad game, as you said the music is great, but it would have worked fine as a stand alone story completely disconnected from Chrono Trigger.
