Hey /v/ is this game worth playing if you have never played it before but enjoyed the various rockstar games from this era. I liked warriors and figure its similar in a way. Thanks in advance.

Bully's pretty great. But, the PC version is fucking buggy so you should play it on a emulator

Honestly I never got the hype for bully.

Most of the gameplay are fetchquests or really shitty minigames, and while the combat can certainly be fun the first times it gets old really quick.

I never managed to keep playing for long enough to get interested in the story so I don't know if that's why people love it

All of the Scholarship Edition versions are buggy because they decided to use the Gamebryo engine for no reason. You can emulate the original but it has less content so it's a toss-up.

Guess i got lucky with the 360 port. Never ran into any technical issues on it. Only played through it once though.

the ps2 emulated version has a bug where you get hard-stuck at around the 1/3 way through the game. The pc version is a todd approved buggy, unstable mess. But it has a patch that you can download and paste in the game files to stop the random crashes. My game hasn't crashed once after I've patched it, so it works on my machine

I must have done this and forgot about it the last time I played it. I don't think I had a single crash when I went thorough it and had a fun time. Much better than the PS2 version I downloaded on the PSN.

I beat it on the 360, good game IMO. Could have been a lot better though. It has a very good start, I'm want to get it again on steam, since I don't have it on xbox anylonger.
