The nintendo Switch is basically a Xbox360 but with Mario and Zelda and basically nothing else.

If you already have one then get a PS4 because it seems to be selling the most and is guaranteed to have multiplats and non shit ports.

If you don't want to be completely retarded then wait a few years and buy whatever new gimmick shit PS4 model comes out at a lower price. The switch might have gotten a few games by then too that aren't literally cardboard for 70$.

You really need both the original version and the midgen upgrade version if you want the best experience, regardless what tv you use. Often games run like crap on the standard console, there the boost mode of the midgen upgrades can help bring the framrate into playable regions. What's also quite frequent is that games with support for the midgen upgrades push the hardware a lot more than it can handle comfortably and the standard console that isn't overloaded with bells and whistles runs better. So get both and choose per game where you play it.
