There is no easy get rich quick scheme early on as far as I'm aware, mainly because one blade is a cold hard lodsofemone check. You can only equip three arts, the fourth is just one you can swap in.

Salvaging is the best way to get money quick. Until gold cylinders unlock in chapter 4/5 use silver ones and salvage in the main town in Gormott. Get like 10 canisters. Then go to the shopkeeper with the scales and turn in sets of salvage for cash. Your gains won't be super high until you get gold canisters but you will make a profit. Check the higher return salvage sets first and work your way down. Once you get gold canisters making millions is easy. Argentum has salvage sets that go for like 30,000 a pop, so yeah getting money is easy.

You can only swap it with one if the others. In the case of Rex, replace the second art with rolling smash. Reduced agro is way more useful than the nothing the other gives you. Anchor shot is useful for healing and double spinning edge is great once you get Mythra and lightspeed flurry.

For the most part throughouth the main quest commons will give you enough rares. I'd suggest you keep ALL your rare cores until say chapter 8 or so, only using common cores. As you draw rare blades they are removed from the pool, and less rares means less chances to draw one.

Xenoblade antagonists don't deserve to be challenging.

I don't get most of you guys praising the story of Xenoblade2.

The story felt like 80% filler until like the last couple of chapters. Almost nothing was going on, or at least felt like it made any impact, with you just traversing from point A to point B basically.

Some events I didn't even get the meaning of—like the priestess from Indol dying. I didn't even know who the hell that just was, was I suposed to feel some sort of emotional impact? It just left me very confused.

Xenoblade1, on the other hand, kept me engaged almost from the get-go and by the time Mechon invade Colony 6 you're already knee-deep in the story. The cinematography was also much, much better, with most cutscenes being exceptionally dynamic, while Xenoblade2 was just talking heads most of the time, and even the rare action scenes didn't leave that much of an impact.

Hell, the whole of chapter 6 I still don't really 'get'. So we need to go X to unlock the aegis' true power, we get there, he goes "Well, I get what I need to do now" which… doesn't seem to be anything different, except that this time Pyra/Mythra believe what he says this time.

Heck, Pyra and Mythra have a bit more character development and they're the 'Standard Designated Love Interest Model 1 and 2'. I think it's why I really like Nia and Zeke; Nia gets some development that actually changes how she acts later on, and Zeke doesn't really change, but realizing this bumbling tool is actually very, very politically astute and generally shrewd and smart was great. He's never really changed but he's complicated enough to get away with it.

I completely disagree. I find rex a far more interesting character than either shulk or elma. I like shulk, and I think he is a decent character, but shulk's character is far more "adaptive" than "growth oriented". Like, shulk doesn't really mature that much, considering he is already mature, and most of his "character growth" is due to changes in circumstance rather than failure. (Spoilers because if vague plot references to xenoblade 1 and 2)

Rex spends a large portion of the game fucking up hard, and the people he cares about suffer for it. It's only in this realization that he grows as a character. In contrast, shulk spends most of the game kicking the shit out if everything, and his failures are related to trying to do everything on his own. Rex is a far more compelling character because he is constantly pushed to his physical and psychological limit, and even broken a few times, and he still manages to come back from it all. Even at shulk's darkest hour, he basically is the "leader everyone looks up to".

Shulk has the brains, the brawn, and the know how to handle almost everything his game throws at him. Even when he loses almost everything he bounces back almost immediately, and rallies his comrades to fight when everything is lost.

Rex is basically constantly propped up by his allies in both battle and wisdom. He has the charisma to get people to follow him, but his lack of real experience constantly ends up screwing people more than helping, and his major character growths all happen because when faced with something he fucked up and it IS all his fault, he needs to step back, adjust, and try again.

Stack up (and shatter) enough orbs on an enemy you fill that bar in the top left. Do it and you get a Persona-style-pilein where everyone lays into the enemy, then whichever character was next when it was filled gets a super-special attack with their blade. A couple tips that I only started using late-late-game, so you might be missing those too:

>investing more boosters don't mean higher chances, you only need to boost the stat of your interest so it is the highest

Those really saved me, sadly I only started applying them on my last 3 rares. Also, releasing common blades from the element you are aiming for had me drawing them over and over like a retard. Took me forever to realize the very simple principle of keeping them so I would stop drawing them as repeats.
