It doesn't play that much like the Souls games, it's got some Souls elements in there but it's more like your average hack-'n-slash.

I wanted to enjoy this game, but it's hard to. It's so repetitive. I wish it was a paid game instead of being F2P, that way they wouldn't have had to drag it out so long.

I still play it every now and again but there is a huge wall after the 26th floor that discouraged me from playing. You have to keep killing bosses to in hopes of getting rare metal then run around the floors to find the crafting items then grinding for SPL to actually craft the fucking item you want then spent the next two days repeating the previous three steps in other to upgrade the item to a usable level.

It's fun in short bursts.

I actually quite enjoyed it up to the second boss. Combat is pretty fun for a hack n slash and I think the pvp system is a beat idea. You don’t have to worry about net play or cheaters. I also don’t think the combat system would work very well for one on one pvp combat. However, once you beat the second boss, the game becomes stupidly hard. Everything is balanced nicely up until then, but all of a sudden enemies become complete damage sponges that can kill you in one or two hits with certain weapons. I didn’t play to get the max rank of fighter, so it might not be so bad, but you have to grind through several floors first.

My biggest issue with the game is how poorly balanced everything is, the leveling isn't that annoying until you start getting to Grade 4 fighters.

Are you referring to Jackson? Because the game becomes bullshit before him.

The machete isn't fun to fight against. It's too fast, does too much damage and the range is too far. Their attempt at balancing this is to make it break easily, which is fine if you're trying to balance players using it, but when you find individual enemies who don't have to worry about taking on several enemies after you it becomes a problem.

It does become pure bullshit after Jackson as well, especially with Claws becoming a common weapon on enemies, but the game starts showing cracks before that.

I found that I had to exclusively use range weapons like the assault rifle for enemies using weapons like the Claws because I was dying too consistently from them.

ANYONE GOT THE FUCKING SOUNDTRACK? I NEED IT, I WOULD SLIT A BABY'S THROAT FOR IT.

Pretty huge list, but unfortunately a lot of those songs aren't in Let It Die.

It's listing songs by MCR and Black Sabbath, neither of which had songs used in the game. That playlist does have about 25-40 songs that were in the game, though.
