Soul Blade was a bit rough around the edges in terms of design and I'd say it's because, for the most part, they seem to need a second game to really nail a character's look. SC1-2 is where the characters look their best for the most part, like how SC2 Ivy is a SC1 Ivy with a little more flair. By SC3, they start to anime the shit out of it and it just snowballs from there on out. I don't mind the exaggerated figures to make the silhouettes more stylized but most of the costumes look absurd in SC4 and SC5 and the actual pseudo-realistic coked out character faces completely defeat that purpose.

It might be good. I'm worried about how they will pull off the rock-paper-scissor mechanism. Everything else seems good, fluid, fast paced and I'm also happy with supers as long as they aren't done like in V.
I sincerely hope the SP mode isn't shallow because that's very important on the SC series (much more so than on Tekken or any other classic fighting game).

It should be positive. T7 has great gameplay and it runs very well (even the online works now and it should get another improvement soon). All of that should be implemented into SC just fine.
My only worry is that they remove the relevance to SP mode since -as I already said- it is very important to the series (you will get more support from your core-audience if SP is good).
DLC will happen regardless of what you do, Tekken 7 DLC isn't significantly worse than the DLC of any other fighting game.

Shirtless knight & Bone and meat isn't the same as Dark age iron Plate and pelts and crude helm and Belts, though dont get me wrong i like the azure design but sometimes the armour can be a little too tidy for the character, id like to see him in a Gladiator or Warrior king getup

Graf Dumas was a pseudonym that Nightmare used, his name being "Dumas" and "Graf" meaning Count as was his title that he got by getting buddy buddy with the roman emperor.
Dumas' model is Rapheal's with red hair.
Rapheal in SCV is after he's been freed from Nightmare's control, and he's slightly scared and confused because Nightmare fucked with his memories and he forgot most of his life.

The Artbook confirms that Raphael died after the events of Soul Calibur IV and that his body was used to make the reincarnation of the Azure Knight Nightmare, but Soul Edge had to rewrite some of Raphael's memories due to his strong willpower. Nightmare as Graf Dumas had some of Raphael's personality and his cunning strategies, which causes Nightmare to try to take over the world rather than destroy everything on sight. To this end he uses an army of Malfested and exploits politics to his advantages. It's unknown how Raphael appears in the story but it implied that after he was freed from Soul Edge's influence he regained his body and discarded the Azure Knight armor to look for Amy.
