Until VR actually improves its control scheme there really is no point in it at all. Moving around is integral to "video games" and why most VR controls don't integrate a wiimote/nunchuck type doodad with analog for omi-directional movement is beyond me. The solution could relatively inexpensive with current technology.

-strafing left and right would might be controlled by the same foot peddle/analog by swiveling it left and right

audioshield: another great workout game. think audiosurf but you punch/shield yourself from three colored orbs with the tune of music.
VRCHAT: second-life but more interesting to watch people interact with eachother in VR. also playable in non-VR so see for yourself.
you also have some VR mods like penumbra and doom 3 with make those games far more intense and fun
