While power creep is real and you will never be stronger than current meta, with the right mods you can still tackle level 60-80 even with OG weapons that aren't MK1 trash.
And if you can manage to get good rive, you can go beyond level 100 easily.

Worth noting that the plains bounties have some of the relics about to rotate: Meso C3(Saryn BP U), Neo S8(Nikana BP U, Spira Pouch R) & Axi N4(Nikana Hilt R).
Axi N4 in particular is in a 'common' pool with only one other item (Breath of the Eidolon), giving a 50%/~30%/~30%/25%/25% chance to get one during the bounty. Since the first objective has the best odds, it is better to restart the bounty when you get an armored vault or liberate camp objective. In the waiting time it takes to clear those you could already be halfway through the first objective of the next bounty.

her ball is still ok for cc, and sleight of hand is funny on corpus maps since you basically turn the map against them, but mostly you'll be using her images with aoe-style weaponry. appropriately modded supras or ignis or kohm etc. are good candidates for her. i've also seen a guy running with a drakgoon riven that increases fire rate and flight speed, so he was launching shrapnel everywhere.

absoarb isnt an ability i enjoy for a few reasons. 1 its not efficient and requires energy pizzas. 2, assimilate lets you move around slowly but makes your damage absoarb area much smaller.
its also boring. whats its utility? how do you see that ability playing out? **also, a teammate can shoot you with an opticor and instantly drain your entire energy pool. leaving you completely vulnerable.
chaos i can have an entire survival map fighting eachother.. then randomly mindcontrol a bombard or something tough. extremely energy efficient and fun. and leaves you practically invincible.

nomatter the level of the enemy, chaos makes you invincible. i didnt know that about absoarb stopping the teammates draining your energy. thats nice, but whats the point? it drains your energy so fast when enemies hit you and youre left completely vulnerable.
the range on absorb makes nyx effective when it comes to protecting an objective. without any range mods you can cover the entire cryopod in a defense. if your range is reduced you cant protect anything.
chaos and mind control are fun and work in all difficulties. and the range is crazy. throw on overextended, stretch, and a range exilus mod and cast chaos during a defense. the range is just insane. on that grineer defense map with the cryopod on the elevator, it'll cover the entire map. use it in a survival and you and your teammates will never take damage. as long as you stay in a nice large room together. when a tough enemy comes, just use mindcontrol and it wont be affected by chaos and will help you mow down the confused enemies. this ability has a nice long duration too.

Zephyr's 4 is far too unreliable to be called great, especially with a high duration build. They tend to wander off, get stuck, clump up, get nullified, or hide things that need to be killed. I wish funnel clouds were the default tbh, little shield/armor strippers that can be thrown out whenever and wherever.

The weapon is doing the bulk of the work, her abilities are just grouping them. Pull, polarize, and crush are all pretty bad. Pull I could even excuse if the rest of her kit was okay, but it's not. Magnetize barely does anything with weapons that don't behave like lanka, it just makes them sit still and not shoot at you.

Depends on how much you like Tier 2 defense missions. 10% chance for each meso with a saryn part and N4 with nikana blade, all on table A. On the other hand a complete set will come down to whether or not you get the chassis (sole rare) so it is closer to a 20% chance of good relic, followed by a 10% chance of relevant drop at radiant.
