Good. Shiggy had a good run, but let's just rundown what's wrong with Shiggy in the modern day:
>Thinks that if you don't have some gimmick that turns the gameplay on it's head you shouldn't make a sequel
Because refining mechanics and adding content isn't enough, right?
>Is the reason for forced motion controls in many Wii and even WiiU games
>Star Fox Zero
Forced gyro controls is fucking dumb, despite being a rehash of 64 it's not even as fun as Assault, needed Platinum to finish the game because he's so fucking inept, boring helicopter segments, etc
>Turned Paper Mario from a great story driven RPG series to a glorified mobile game where humor lies not in characters, but how many slapstick jokes they can make about the world being paper.
>Last good IP he made was Pikmin, almost 20 years ago
>The fucking Rabbids team made a better Mario spinoff game than he has in years
>Reportedly disliked Splatoon during development, it ended up being very fun and a huge success for Nintendo, showing how out-of-touch he is
He might have been a pioneer for video games, but now he's just a senile hack who needs to retire but won't.

But that mentality isn't exclusive to Shiggy and applies to most of Nintendo's key development staff. It's so ingrained in their corporate culture that storyfags who go into Nintendo leave with more gameplay oriented mindsets. If it was exclusive to Shiggy then I'd say be worried, but he's not the first and won't be the last to put gameplay first.
