I may eventually get into VR just because sim autism hits me every once in a while, but it still doesn't seem great for extended use, and considering how release cycles are, probably not going to see much but incremental improvements in a decade's time.

The same games I play now. I live in Australia so with the inevitable increase of always online DRM and any game that relies on <100ms response time I simply won't be able to play. Despite my country being the BIGGEST spender per capita in the world when it comes to video games the electric jew will never base a server here because they know that the goyim will eat shit if given no other alternatives. Even now I'm still playing the guild 2 because there's nothing else comparable to it after all these years, and even if there was there'd be some absolute faggot-tier DRM infesting it to the point of unplayability.

I don't know for any of those, ten years is a long ass time. I'm hoping that VR unfucks it's shit and gives us some actual games. I don't think we'll have holodeck-tier VR with all sorts of haptic feedback but I'm expecting at the very least some improvements that make it worthwhile.

I'm not sure I'll ever stop gaming completely. My dream is to suddenly get rich, retire early and play videogames and practice hobbies for the rest of my life, but there's a shitton of stuff in life to do and videogames are a massive time sink for me.

TF Classic was just a mod. Plenty of other good mods have also been made. There are some other good free shooters you could try.

Probably. I can't remember the last time I bought a new game. I'm poking at only two video games currently. There is only one future release I still have interest in, and it has an unknown release date, so we'll see how that goes. My spare time is slowly shifting to board games and drawing.

Again as far as "Games I will be playing in 10 years go" TF2 is basically a safe bet, I don't really see the purpose in investing extended time into another game, especially since many phase out your investment with sequels and leave your prior game in forced obsolescence.

The jump from 1987 to 1997 was mind blowing. 1997 to 2007 was a pretty wild ride. 2007-2017? Same old shit. Yeah, aside from the obvious risks of a company being able to alter your brain, plugs are also impractical as fuck. You'd need a new surgery every time your plug is too old for modern stuff. Even the best of goys that's willing to buy the latest iphone every year isn't going to be willing to do that when it's a surgery that costs tens of thousands of dollars and takes weeks to be back to work/school.
