HellGate London goes fan-made Multiplayer and I heard nothing.

Anyone here plays it/tried it?

Is it as fun and broken as the original?

Aparently it works with pirated copies, just make sure your torrent has the latest MP patch before installing their's.

I found this shit at work, 3 more hours before I can try it, please someone tell me if it's any good.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was shit, unoptimized and had terrible skill trees.

I still liked it a lot. It got the concept, the environment and the guns right at least.

Also dashing around as blademaster made the game a buttload of fun.

What I'm asking is if this is actually multiplayer. For realsies. I don't wanna download some 5gb patch and then eat packet loss every 30 seconds with disconnects until I give up again.

I has great potential, that's for sure. 3rd person ARPG with apocalyptic setting, fighting against demons.. Plus the arts and story was really great but fucking shitty gameplay fucked it all up.

It could be the Borderlands way before Borderlands released. But the game was shallow, short as fuck and unbalanced. Plus the subscription based service on fucking MORPG?

I still remember the massive hype train back in days and how amazingly it wrecked.

What Bill Roper doing now? I heard he just fucking suddenly vanished after the game crashed.

I'm looking to play with my brother since we allways wanted to co-op but got the game when the servers died.

I found that Global shit a few months ago but it's microtransaction turd infested crap.

Utterly generic, and it's too much RPG and too little action.

I hated the art direction and goofy armors where everything glows. The game would have benefited from a more down to earth look.

Well, just tried it after getting home.

Sucks that the server is in canada and I'm a 192 ping yuro.

On the other hand, co-op works great and there's even small tweaks and patches here and there that I'm still discovering. Looks like a fresh game. I'm pretty happy so far.
