Yeah the battle agency is shit compared to the PWT rentals and the Battle Factory. It requires you to link with someone else in the Festival Plaza to get good rental pokes. It's also streetpass compatible but you aren't guaranteed to get good ones using that method. Rainbow Rocket is like other post-game stories in that it lasts around a hour and after that it's nothing else.

The only other thing I could find was that the villains in the other dimension all have the legendary from their respective game, and that's their entire team. It's not much to go off of but salt was able to be caused with a single like of text in the original Salt Party, but regardless when I heard this shit was barebones I didn't expect it to be this bad. Worst comes to worst we can just wait until another game comes out, Pokemon or not, so we can have a memefest then. I was kind of looking forward to using whatever was new about this game as a way to generate a bunch of OC and memories.

Why is she radioactive?

I finished the game. Can confirm it's just another crystal/emerald/platinum but this time they split it into two games to milk as much cash as possible. I can already see the endless stream of people complaining it's the same game.

It is significantly better than SM because like platinum and emerald before it, it makes the games feel more complete due to the new pokemon and story elements, but if you've wasted your time on the base game already you don't have to play these but you probably already knew that.

There are new totem pokemon. Wishiwashi is replaced with araquanid, Salazzle with Marowak, vikavolt with togedemaru. There is also a fairy totem now with ribombee. The fairy captain has a lot more to do than just appear out of nowhere.

Hala is replaced with Molayne in the elite four and Hau is the champion. In general Hau is a lot less of a stupid nigger in this game and he actually becomes slightly challenging, keyword being slightly the game is still easy although it is significantly harder than the base games. The ultra wormhole thing is a minigame than requires gyroscope shit but after you beat the game you can activate using the thumbstick instead at the gamefreak building. Its an on rails thing where you collect boosts and avoid hazards and keep going until you find an opening with enough glitter to indicate there might be a rare pokemon. It's nothing special. The Ultra Megalopolis place is literally nothing. You walk out and are greeted by two ultra recon blue people (one of whom is a cute little girl) and then you fight Ultra Necrozma which is probably the best thing in the game since literally only one of my pokemon could survive a single hit from it.

The Rainbow Rocket postgame shit is just walking through the aether mansion which has been taken over. You go through solving warp puzzles and fighting goons then you fight a villain. First Maxie and Archie, then Cyrus and Lysandre, then Ghetsis (bastard hits lillie) and finally Giovanni. It's nothing special unless you have nostalgia for any of these characters. Also the explanation for why they were there is ridiculous. Colress said that after the Necrozma ultra wormhole shit it resonated with great evil and so brought over all the villains. Also I think they set up Giovanni for being the villain in the switch Pokemon game at the end since he's shown to be the only one who can teleport at will (at least I think).

There are a lot of minor changes to the plot like what you do during the trials and whatever that's not really worth mentioning.

It does have some great music though.

USM gives you the starter much earlier, almost right away. After you leave the house for the first time, once you wander to the nearest patch of grass, a cutscene starts and you're given your starter.
