So there was a PM game released for the SNES/SFC? I wouldn't know if it was a port of the first one or not since I have only played 2 so I could take a look at that birthday suit. Are PM3 and 4 worth playing?

I'm pretty sure the snes version is different altogether from the pc games. 3 and 4 are quite a lot different from the 2nd and 1st in that they're much concentrated on the relationships your daughter makes between her rivals/friends, and the general raising sim aspects. If you liked that part of the 2nd one then go ahead. If you liked making a murder loli and going on adventures then you're SOL.

The SFC mechanically is identical to PM2, it just has different graphics and different looking princess. Still worth playing if you're bored.

Princess Maker 3 is simpler and there's no adventure mode but it has it's charm and a good amount of random events. Princess Maker 4 has more emphasis on characters with your princess having several endings that are related to other characters like friends or lovers. Lots of events with other characters and some of them are pretty decent.
