I want to play this on PC but I see that there is two versions. Is it true that the remaster is garbage and that I should stick with the original release?

Doos OoX 3 Remaster is also ass but the original is ok. Too bad you can't find the non-fagged up version anywhere.

The remaster's pretty much the same as the original, so yeah it's garbage. Bioshock 1 was a decent fluke, everything after that was a mistake.

I played remaster a bit and I can say the difference is very small in graphics but the file size difference is huge. So just play the originals

I thought it was fun as long as you keep the story out of mind and just want to protect the little sisters. But the quality of all of the shock games is hotly contested here, so just pirate it and find out. 2k does not deserve your money.

Bioshock 2 reminds me of a theme park ride where you go from themed area to themed area. I had some fun with it. I really liked the Siren Alley thematically. Basically a piece of New Orleans. Also, you might as well play the Remaster if you're going to play it. The main issue with crashing comes from the fact that they limited the amount of RAM that could be used to process the textures. I forget the exact file but you only need to edit a few numbers.

Also, Eleanor's suit is awesome

The "remaster" is just bloated up shit.

The only good part about Bioshock 2 is the gameplay which automatically makes it better than the first one.

the remasters are literally just high definition textures, and hacks to support 1080p properly

the original also had issues running on later PC, so stick with whichever one works for ya
