I beat the game a year ago. It's alright. It's a lot like splinter cell 1 except the plot isn't as good.
The game is very linear in most levels with only a few being flexible. Stealth works well, but the shadow system can be weird due to the mediocre lighting. You will hear heartbeats when you are getting close to someone and it intensifies the closer you are. If you are spotted, a red eye will appear until you are out of their sight. You have up to I believe 5 different movement speeds and have to consider how you move depending on the floor type. You can stand, crouch, and go prone. There is a lockpicking minigame. In each mission you can select a loadout of guns and items, but stealth is almost always mandatory.
It's worth trying if you want to play something different.
