WHAT'S WORSE THEN HYPING THE RL OPENING OF A GIANT LOOT BOX CONTAINING A YOUTUBER?
Having the box get stuck in customs and having the "loot" just walk on stage after an hour of three other Youtubers hyping the crowd even more
Lets add up train-wreck points here
+Box stuck in customs. Going to bet customs is not a fan of manifests that say "empty box"
+It was cheaper to make said box overseas and ship to US, rather than pay any of the independent production companies in CA to make it.
+Putting on a paid panel despite missing the key feature for said pannel
+You have to pay to watch footage of this via the Blizzcon Virtual Ticket
+Spending a month hyping the equivalent of a stripper jumping out of a cardboard cake
+A furry has the best information about what happened
Total score: 6

Know that I am late to the party but it seems like there was no backlash about all this Blizzard more lootboxes shit. It has become abundantly apparent that loot boxes are now the primary revenue generating mechanism in a game. That methods of getting more lootbox purchases have been patented and that it has been shown to make a game more money then the games original sales. Where are the pitchforks or is it to late?
