Recently I got a copy of AC5. It's my first AC game, and the only thing I've done so far was finish the entire tutorial. My final grade was a C. Am I ready for the main game, or should I practice more?

Also, discuss your favorite/least favorite AC games and what your hopes for AC7 are.

My favorite is either 5 or 0. It's hard to pick between the two. I look at them as kind of a Sonic 3 and Knuckles type duology. That could just be because I played 0 immediately after I played 5.

The RHDN page says last December for the initial release, and it looks like a 2.0 was put out July 22nd (assuming that's not merely the date the page itself was last updated). So it's been a while now.

I personally recommend playing 4, 5, 0 in that order but I guess it's not the worst thing in the world to start with 5.

I'm playing Ace Combat Zero for the first time and thought taking an A-10 into operation cannibal would be a good idea. While I did manage to take down half a dozen F-35s, the meme planes eventually overwhelmed my fat ass.

I never did the tutorials and I got through the games just fine. You pick up on flying as you go along on the missions. Be mindful of the amount of missiles you have, because you won't be able to restock ammo except on certain missions and make sure you don't crash into the ground because you didn't properly check your surroundings while dogfighting.

If you enjoy 5, do consider picking up 04 and Zero. They're as high quality as 5, but in other aspects. 04 is more rough around the edges compared to 5 and Zero, but it's worth it.
