How do I take screenshots?
F11. They save to Documents\ETLegacy\legacy\screenshots on windows or $HOME/.etlegacy on Linux.
Why are there non-vanilla weapons?
Shotguns are fun.
My download keeps timing out, wat do?
Try typing cl_timeout 60 in console.
My game has gone crazy and all the text looks like an eldritch abomination. How do I fix it?
Open console, type vid_restart (might need a / in front of it).
How do I deal with mines?
They don't explode until you step off them. If you trip one and you're an engineer then take out pliers (key 5 by default) and you can defuse it. If you aren't an engineer then ask one to help you or use your time to get your affairs in order.
How do I plant mines?
Take mine out, throw on ground and activate with pliers (key 5). Note that this has to be done on dirt and they can TK.
How do I use dynamite/defuse dynamite?
Throw on ground, use pliers (key 5).
How do I make the tank move?
Stand near it. If it's been destroyed by AT weapons then repair it with the fucking pliers. You'll note a theme developing with this game and fucking pliers.
How do I pick a class?
Hit L.
Why can't I respawn?
Hit jump (spacebar), when you first die you're only wounded rather than killed so medics can revive you with their syringe. Hitting jump or being shot again ends this.
How do I heal?
Get a medkit from a medic or find a resupply point (look on map).
How do I get ammo?
Ammobox from field ops or find a resupply point. You can also loot guns with a minimal amount of ammo from dead bodies.
How do I steal an enemy uniform?
Shoot a fag while spec-ops class then hold use on their body. If you shoot an unsuppressed weapon you'll lose the disguise. Also this class can backstab with the knife.
Why does respawning take so long?
