I finally got around to playing it.
It's interesting. The first 30 minutes of dialogue is translated, but then suddenly it becomes a coin flip on if the event is translated or not and all of the tutorials are untranslated as well. One of them seems to be very important since it appears to allow you to influence events, but since I didn't know how to use it nothing happened when I tried to do it. I stopped playing when I started seeing important story events left completely untranslated.
I'll just wait for the full patch.
