I'm thinking of making bumpers to ease the transition between each episode and give the stream a bit of a feel of an actual programming block. It's also a good excuse to keep my video editing skills from getting rusty. For now, I'm aiming stylistically towards those oldschool static Adult Swim bumpers (I posted a few examples for those who aren't familiar with old Adult Swim), though I may use yuri images instead of scenery for my bumpers.
What do you guys think?

Schoolgirls Strikers is an advertisement for a squenix mobile game about cute girls doing boring stuff with no yuri whatsoever. Too many characters and focuses on all of them rather than developing some. It's an advertisement first and a show second is my problem. Hell Ange Vierge was basically the same thing and had some yuri in spite of that.
Some thoughts:
Urara is a yuri bait show along with Gabriel Dropout (I think Gabriel is funny though and a little bit more meat on it's bait than the others and Urara has cute girls doing cute things in kimonos so I'm willing to tolerate it). Little Witch is cute girls doing cute things with female friendship litered throughout. I say keep them but just gonna say this season is gonna be less satisfying than last season. Keijo had some more explicit characters and Izetta and Flip Flap barely needed goggles. Regalia barely needed goggles as well despite the second half sucking.
Maid Dragon is actually the one I'd say most likely to have /u/ content so far this season. Dragon maid is very yandere already for MC and there was a number of scenes and the main character definitely is the gay female officer worker nerd type that is sorta boyish who has a love of maids. They also have a very yuri relationship already.
The cat short was cute but that's about it.

So Frame Arms girls is like Schoolgirl Strikers, but better at least. The mini solider girls interacting with the world might be entertaining but other than that not much.
Sakura Quest looks interesting to me from a Slice of Life point of view, so I'm interested to see where that goes.
Hinako is… just kind of a recolour of every moe show you can think of. Doesn't do anything new. Hope Sin Nanatsu turns out good next week.

Shit. Not impressed with the shows this season. Sakura Quest made me question who the primary audience for this even was (fans of cute but boring girls or fans of ojiisamas). Hinako Note wasn't funny and just CTDCT. Was at least cute but still boring. Was busy and missed Frame Arms Girls. Best word I'd describe this season with so far is boring. No plot in any of these. No surprises either. All just the same tired crap.

I felt the ending for Dragon Maid was weak. How can anyone even take this shit seriously when they can't even say the word love. And then the speech from Kobayashi. Who actually likes this crap? /u/ doesn't like it cause it's half hearted fanservice and /a/ doesn't like it for the same reason. No one watches shit for the yuri undertones. We watch it for the actual yuri romance. We need to go back to Shizuru literally roaring her feelings at Natsuki with the aid of a giant robot hydra powered by forbidden love, Chikane using her feelings as a weapon against Himeko, etc. There is no plot in any of these shows anymore. No surprises. Just fanservice that is unsatisfying for all involved.
sin is gonna have to single handledy save this season by being the second coming of Valkyrie Drive. If not we are gonna have a boring season. We do have the Yuuki Yuuna movies though tomorrow.
Backlogs and fanfiction then. Maybe play some VNs this season.

Dragon Maid was a decent SoL. It wasn't anything more than that. It's shame that it started going down hill towards the end as the relationship between Toru and Kobayashi failed to go anywhere.
As for this season, more inane SoL. Hinako Note is GochiUsa set in a book shop and Sakura Quest is basically a PA Works version Locodol.

Yeah. Knew it was gonna be a SOL and that element was good. Problem is it never went anywhere like you said and just became about raising Kanna (which started out strong but became fanservice bullshit with her classmate). Basically it never went anywhere. I enjoyed it as a show but I'm sick of the shitty endings in these yuri shows. Say what you will about KnM but the ending is the best part of the show. Not the weakest. We keep having these shows with weak endings and weak relationships that all just come across as pathetic.

I was wondering why Sanpaku eyes' dagger broke on the last one, but it is an old blade that was already used to kill 2 other people.
I wish I was able to full screen on that site, but oh well. As for the sound, it was kind of low compared the sound I hear on my desktop from other sources.

Kirika shot the dagger - that's why it broke. If you like Noir check out Princess Principal this season. Same people who worked on it as Noir and the other beetrain stuff.
As for the sound. I'm not sure how to raise the volume any higher. I use window capture in OBS since directly playing the file causes subtitles not to display.
In the mixer it's using desktop audio currently and then I mute all other sounds on my desktop outside of the media player.

We've been thinking it might be better to break up popular shows to stream on days when english subs come out for them (if someone is available and wants to stream it) so that we discuss stuff more on this board instead of waiting a week when discussion has died down (and then all discussion only takes place on /a/). This would mostly apply to actual popular stuff the board likes. For instance this season Pri Pri is most popular show.
