I remember when I was in school they taught us about the Standford prison experiment. How some students were assigned to be guards and prisoners and just after a day or two the guards started beating up the prisoners or whatever and the study had to be stopped. Even as a schoolboy I wasn't gullible enough to believe that and surprise surprise it turned out to be a fraud. Nevertheless I'm sure it's still been taught as if it's real just for the sake of propaganda value. I'm sure there are documentaries about that study too.
I'm pretty sure the "third wave" experiment is a similar fraud but I'm not sure if that's proven to be a hoax like the prison experiment.
