I have a latitude with core u7300.

It's actually running at 800MHz instead of 1.3Ghz due to the wrong voltage from my univ charger.

The gpu is a 4500MHD which is able to run KDE plasma with no hiccups at all and I think it could play 1080p videos with hardware acceleration

IBM thinkpads are becoming increasingly out of date and lenovo thinkpads are build by chinks and have bloatware that auto installs if you reinstall windows.

Dell > HP > Lelnovo for used corporate machines, except for entry level Thinkpads with classic-style keyboard. I believe the anecdote is that workstation Precisions were better than the competition around 2010.

HPs are good for frying eggs. Thinkpads may be a meme but it's for a reason. No Dells have coreboot compatibility so they're as good as garbage even if they are well built.

I had one not so long ago and when I opened to look how dusty is it there was written that it comes with ME disabled. Didn't try it if it's try with me checker, instead sold it and bought G4, but how's that no one ever mentioned it there?

Gonna upgrade the processor to a T7200 and plop a SSD in it one of these centuries, but I don't really have much of a reason to at the moment. It performs solid and it feels more solid than my Thinkpad X41 tablet, lol
