This is an HP JetDirect 170X. So far the only things I've confirmed is that it boots off of an 8mbit EPROM and has pads for flash memory that can be used instead of the EPROM with a jumper. Have not been able to find a confirmation of what CPU architecture an HP 1QM7-0003 is, but the part number is very similar to an HP PA-8500.

Anyone know any more about this machine?

If nobody knows what this part number is, I may attempt to dump the ROM to see what lives there...

It's probably some custom ASIC marked with internal HP numbering system. Aside from dumping ROM or decapping it's impossible to tell what exactly is it. I don't think it is something like PA-8500, since

Using such microprocessors for embedded devices wouldn't be economical. It is probably some sort of RISC device but probably not PA-RISC.
