How is 'hardened Android' possible? Spyware and backdoors are all over AOSP. It'd take a huge team to comb that much source, even Debian couldn't do it just with chromium.

Apparently he stripped out the Google stuff, then applied pax/grsec patches, getting them to work with android, and worked 60-80 hours a week on it as CTO. I don't know how big the team was, everything makes it sound like it was done by Daniel Micay himself, but I find that hard to believe.
