How can we help GNU, FSF and GPL licences fail faster than they already are?

There are plenty of metrics showing that GPL is dying, as developers are choosing more permissive licenses that transfer more freedom of choice as to how they wish to redistribute their software. Yet still, there are some big dominoes that need to fall.

GNU code is notoriously full of cruft and is rotting from the root up, but sadly GCC is still widely used, even though Clang and LLVM are inarguably superior. Should we lobby more distributions to adopt these binutils?

FSF will die when Stallman dies, and judging by his fitness regimen, I don't give it long.

Start by using OpenBSD, DragonflyBSD or NetBSD. That gets you pretty far from the GNU-males. To the best of my knowledge, the Linux kernel does not compile with Clang, but Debian do/did have a project to try and fix that.

For an editor you could use Vim which is free/niggercharity ware. You can still use Firefox.

Please kill yourself OP. They are both the same pile of c++ cancer shitware. Try building them both and then going back and building the last version of gcc that didn't require c++. Current gcc and clang both take at least a couple orders of magnitude longer then old gcc did. On top of that they both are on a race to the bottom to see who can generate the most unsafe binaries the fastest, while simultaneously seeing who can stray the farthest from what the code specified is actually supposed to do.

Fuck you as well.

Do you have a better alternative to those? I know Intel has a compiler, but that's out of my reach.

No answers, just idiocy. Perhaps you need to go back to yahoo answers.

If you're asking for software advice, then this fucking thread belongs to the Sticky, but you clearly don't comprehend that.

I want >>881145 to explain the alternative after shitting on the two most common ones. I don't need software advice. If you have nothing constructive to add to this thread, please refrain from wasting more of people's time.

REAL PROFESSIONALS WRITE THEIR OWN COMPILER! Also, GNU Emacs is the superior editor. You wouldn't use vim, if you wanted a truly minimal editor. I don't think that GANOO will die any time soon.

For the record, I think that ganoo license and bsd license are as good.
