I went to best buy and decided to test the 120hz display on the iPad pro. It had EXTREME motion blur when scrolling a page or doing anything really. I keep hearing about how this is the best display around but within 2 seconds I noticed this glaring flaw. I started searching online for the problem and only found one forum thread on macrumors where it's even mentioned. I also found one youtube video about the issue with about 3 views. Why isn't this a bigger deal? Nobody seems to care.

macfags will ignore it and praise apple no matter what overpriced garbage they put out and nobody else cares.

You can see the smearing in that video. It refreshes at 120hz, no doubt about it. But it still has bits of previous frames lingering during motion.

No. My 144hz gaymur monitor does pretty well on blurbusters. But all LCDs do blur some.

I haven't seen one in person, but after working at a retail competitor I would guess the floor model is probably fucked up since those tablets go through hell. Next time you are out give another one a quick glance and see if it has the same problem.

OP have you ever used an ipad or similar tablet before? ipads use IPS displays so maybe the lcd respose time isn't as fast as what you're used to?

All LCDs are blurry. You can thank Korean shit gooks for pushing their LCD trash over superior Japanese SED and Plasma. Doesn't matter if it's at 240hz, it'll still blur and look shitty compared to a CRT.

This, having a screen turned on max brightness 14 hours a day every day never does any good
