Anon, why aren't you using DNS based adblocking? Why aren't you blocking the ads before they even reach your machines?

You don't even need to install that ad blocking bloatware with Pi-Hole, and it can protect ALL of your devices on the network.

Still seeing some ads that get through because you didn't actively update the blacklists? Install Adnauseam to fuck ad networks over and waste their money while also blocking the ads.

because then i'd have to add bullshit code in front of tor to remove some ads that i dont even notice in the first place

 No.795796

There's already a million browser extensions that do this, pi-hole is only useful if you like browsing on a non-free platform like your phone - in your own house.

If you do have a bunch of home devices, you should already have your own dns resolver set up anyways so you can encrypt your DNS traffic.

Pi Hole is pretty good, been running it for a few months now.

It does cause weird issues with some legit sites and vidya though, so being able to temporarily disable it is essential.

I already do, and I didn't need to pay SJWs or scum like ARM or Broadcom money for the privilege because I'm not some helpless retard that needs spoon-feeding prepackaged IoT distros.
