Hot air baloons, also known as zeplins, are already illegal for the population as they obsolete cars for long distance travel. There was a DUDEWEEDLMAO blog a while back on another board that gave details of how to build one for carying humans with electricity and heavy items. Its entirely possible to fit solar panels and a computer system on the thing and leave it up till someone shoots it down.

I have a better solution. How about we create these really tall towers that transmit radiowaves. These towers are easy to mantain and can be left alone. Also it would be really easy to hook up the power grid to easily supply the shit tons of energy that is required for something like this. Im not sure what we'd call these things although seems like a better idea then hot air balloons.
