Is there any particular reason why we never saw any Jedi using yellow lightsabers in the prequels and that era? It's always blue and green or in the case of Mace Windu, purple (and I read that only happened because Samuel L. Jackson wanted a unique lightsaber color). You'd think yellow would be a logical addition to complement the other three.

Lukas was never truly liked the idea of multiple colors past red,green, and blue. He allowed it in lore but was dead set on never doing it for the movies
